No matter how good eReaders will get, nothing beats holding a real book. Not saying I won't end up using an eReader, of course :).

Wordpress, by default, holds all comments made by 'new folks', so from now on your comments will be approved right away. But you're right, I'll disable this feature to encourage discussion :).

Posted my last fatherly comment, only to find out that my son is now moderating me... Gone is not only the freedom of expression, but with it the glorious prerogative of fathers to educate their children. I patiently will await the decision of my son as to the admissibility of my parental advice. Anxiously.

Dave, at least I would have expected you to perform the nonsensical act of reading on an eReader. Guess you are waiting for Apple... Then again, I must say that YoungDoo's picture of you holding one of those old fashioned piles of paper (neatly sequentially bound) has a nice mood to it. So I forgive :-)

Dave,
I can't imagine not reading. I'm on my last book at the moment and am going to go into withdrawal unless I can borrow something from someone tomorrow or hit the bookstore.

Reading is so much better than a move and cheaper too. it takes about 2 hours to watch a movie, but read the same book and it's probably closer to 5-8 hours for about the same amount of money.

The Steve Jobs book sounds interesting - I'd like to borrow it. I'll swap you for "Pour Your Heart Into It" which is a book about the starbucks CEO - I'm sure you'll like it.
