And so, a love child was born. The Croissich? Sandsant? Whatever.

Stefan brought back some Apfelwein from his hometown after spending an (awful short) vacation there. We had a small get-together after 6, after which most went out to drink more alcohol. I left early with Ashley to ‘do’ Lotte World, which turned out to be good for more than one reason. The next morning most everybody looked like they got hit by a bus. So much for appearing productive, eh?

I have no idea what this guy was doing, but it sure looked interesting..

During lunch today Mr. Sung and Ji-hyun were both busy playing Angry Birds, catching the interest of others around them. We went to this new place (well, new to us) somewhere in a basement. The food was average, but the price of the hamburger-meat-whatever-thing I had was quite expensive, and while it wasn’t bad, it definitely didn’t taste as good as the price would indicate. /complain.

Last sunday I had dinner with Eun-ji, Ji-youn and Ashley in Gangnam, and afterwards we spent some time in Red Mango. It was great to be out talking with friends, spending some time together without having to worry about the day to day randomanities. Thank you all, I smiled a lot~

Though I seem to have forgotten to actually make photos of the friends.. ahem.

And, since talking is, you know, overrated and all, I ended up sitting with 3 guys turned around watching TV. Ahem.

The first two days of the trip we ate Chinese food, which makes perfect sense. I mean, China is so far away.

Yugh.

On the third day I convinced them to eat something a tad more american-ish (“If you guys don’t eat something other than chinese food, I’ll eat on my own, thankyouverymuch.“), so we ended up at a Pizzahut. The pizzas were pretty darn good, aside from the fact that they were drained with oil. But goshdarnit, how amewican I felt.

And some other assorted foods devoured during my stay.

In “Ohmygawd I’ve only seen this is The Wire, it’s really real!” small paper bags, even! Holy cow!

Not quite there, but awfully close to dutch cheese. After being pretty much cheese-less for over a year, I’m happy.

I figure I’ll go all out, since I’m not paying (everything) anyway..

Didn’t try it just yet, kind of not sure it’ll be anything special. I mean, it’s almonds. On a croissant. Woo.

You’re a long way from home.

Last night David, Dae-myeong, Raj and I went out for a quick bite. It was Raj’ first day (or, afternoon, I guess) at Zenitum, he will be joining us full-time soon. David took this moment to talk about the things he likes, admires and wants, which turned into an interesting (and amusing) half-speech on (his) life, Zenitum and the future of Zenitum(ers).

Verdict: Delicous. Fortunately it didn’t taste like coffee all that much, so I’m not entirely sure why they call it Coffee Éclair. Then again, my french is horrible. Then again, I really couldn’t care less.

Friday evening after working a tad late David, Stefan, our newest team member Dae-myeong and yours truly went out for dinner at a nearby 삼겹살 place. We had some good laughs, and all in all I enjoyed spending some time with them. It’s nice to see people in a different situation other than just work.
