It’s becoming quite popular, it seems.

(For those not familiar with JunHee’s hair style; he most always has at least one part sticking up (as seen above). The harder he tries to ‘fix’ it, the more parts seem to pop up.)

Stefan brought back some Apfelwein from his hometown after spending an (awful short) vacation there. We had a small get-together after 6, after which most went out to drink more alcohol. I left early with Ashley to ‘do’ Lotte World, which turned out to be good for more than one reason. The next morning most everybody looked like they got hit by a bus. So much for appearing productive, eh?

I have no idea what this guy was doing, but it sure looked interesting..

Just tagging along while I work. Promise I’ll have a better photo of her someday, so far she’s been surprisingly good at dodging my camera.

I was on a roll, apparently. Pun wholly intended.

During lunch today Mr. Sung and Ji-hyun were both busy playing Angry Birds, catching the interest of others around them. We went to this new place (well, new to us) somewhere in a basement. The food was average, but the price of the hamburger-meat-whatever-thing I had was quite expensive, and while it wasn’t bad, it definitely didn’t taste as good as the price would indicate. /complain.

Ji-hyun’s last few days at the office. She’s been an intern at Zenitum for about 6 months now, but it’s time to move on, get back to university and so on. We’ll miss you!

Quite the hype amongst Zenitumers, apparently.

Why yes, of course it is. Where else would you put it?

In preparations for the move (Zenitum is moving), a bunch of folks were destructing a few things in the office, making as much noise as they could possibly make. A few of us dragged their tables to the small garden outside to enjoy the weather, and less noise around them. I obviously snapped a few photos because it looked funny as hell .

My Macbook Pro (2007 model) died a while ago, and after long back-and-forth talks with the service center here, it turned out that they would’t repair my Macbook Pro for free anymore. I’ve had trouble with it for all the three years I owned it, with the logic board dying roughly every year. This is a known problem with the exact model I have, and aside from replacing the logic board, Apple (and NVidia) offer nothing more but a ‘sorry, you’re f*cked’.

Anywho. I am now the proud owner user of a company-issued Macbook Pro, the newest with that fancy automatic graphics switching stuff, Intel’s Core i5 and a freaking gorgeous case. It’s one thing to see this mac, but it’s a whole ‘nother experience when you get to fondle it. My mobile office is now almost complete.

The entire Zenitum crew went out to watch Iron Man 2 last tuesday, half for inspiration on all the geeky stuff that goes on in the movie, half to have some fun together. The movie was quite nice (though not as nice as part one), and it was nice to be out and about with everybody. It’s a great way to experience your fellow colleagues as more than just noisy office furniture .

I bought a new Apple keyboard and Magic mouse today (finally..). I got so tired of using a cheap windows-style keyboard. The Magic mouse takes some getting used to, but I’m already liking it a lot. It moves so smoothly over my desk, it’s like it’s floating on ice. Remarkable.

Oh, and goodbye, Mighty mouse scroll-ball! Not that you worked anyway..

Last night David, Dae-myeong, Raj and I went out for a quick bite. It was Raj’ first day (or, afternoon, I guess) at Zenitum, he will be joining us full-time soon. David took this moment to talk about the things he likes, admires and wants, which turned into an interesting (and amusing) half-speech on (his) life, Zenitum and the future of Zenitum(ers).

Friday evening after working a tad late David, Stefan, our newest team member Dae-myeong and yours truly went out for dinner at a nearby 삼겹살 place. We had some good laughs, and all in all I enjoyed spending some time with them. It’s nice to see people in a different situation other than just work.

We went out for lunch with a bunch of the Zenitumers today. David seemed rather unhappy about that, though..

When they say chicken soup in Korea, they really mean chicken soup. There’s an entire chicken in here.
