It’s the Numark PT01 (http://www.numark.com/pt01), it’s a portable record player with built-in pre-amp and amplifier. You can’t circumvent those, so it doesn’t really sound all that good. It’s great for when you need a player to carry around or I guess an environment where you’re not actively listening or so.

I think it goes for about $100 or so. Hope this helps!

This is random I know, but what make/model is that record player? I have an old Sony that I really liked but this holiday season several of its features stopped working so I’m finding myself in the market.

I love the truth you splashed at them Dave. while it is a good start, it is a really big disappointment on many levels.
You have all the big, top dogs on there and yet just like on twitter none of them can muster an answer to your questions or comment on your posts, unless of course you are commenting on their photos.

Being a photographer I see it’s potential, but if I wanted to be ignored or play the look at me game I can just as easily sign into twitter or Myspace.
